ADA Majlis is a series of analytical discourse, which extends one of the key missions of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA). It draws attention to Azerbaijan's emergence as a regional leader, creates a thought-provoking public forum on current global issues and their impact on Azerbaijan.
It has three components: Majlis, Global Perspectives and Friday Hearings.
This program discusses the security threats in Eurasia, including frozen ethnic conflicts, religious radicalism, terrorism, arms race and transnational crime and offers a comprehensive set of solutions to combat these threats. Global threats, such as climate change, balance of power between the East and the West, poverty and economic recession, also become focus of this program, as they directly affect security and stability of the countries in the region.
