ADA majlis

ADA Majlis is a series of analytical discourse, which extends one of the key missions of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA). It draws attention to Azerbaijan's emergence as a regional leader, creates a thought-provoking public forum on current global issues and their impact on Azerbaijan.

It has three components: Majlis, Global Perspectives and Friday Hearings.

Mr. Fariz Ismailzade is Executive Dean at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. In addition to moderating the ADA Majlis, he has also been a moderator of ADA Debates, a monthly series aimed at training debating skills.

Innovating Higher Education in Azerbaijan. Its Impact on Human Capital Development and Enhancement

Azerbaijan has to increase its non-oil exports more than 40 times to become an upper-middle income country. Development of human capital is vital to achieve this goal, while education is a driving force in human capital development and enhancement.

This Majlis explores the link between economic development and innovation in higher education, outlining the challenges of the mission and drawing on the experiences of senior experts and officials from Ireland, Slovakiya and Azerbaijan.
