Bachelor of Science in Finance
Bachelor of Science in Finance (BSF) provides students with an opportunity to acquire a firm grasp of the financial theory and practice. They will be able to apply financial analysis to practical issues, such as how individuals and organizations raise money and capital, and how to effectively allocate resources among various investment opportunities. The curriculum is designed to equip students with foundational courses in mathematics, economics, and statistics and a broad overview of the main functional areas of business, such as management, operations, and marketing, before delving into the courses that develop students’ understanding of the factors that influence financial decision making and provide with opportunities to develop and implement their critical thinking skills to solve in-depth financial problems. It prepares students for careers in the financial industry local and global, including, but not limited to, corporate finance, financial markets, asset management, commercial banks, investment banks, insurance companies, and venture capital.
