The speaker will talk about the development of global agency in IB schools and will talk through innovative angles on how global citizenship education, long-term thinking and Australian indigenous thinking might inform educational practice.

Dr. Nick Palmer (B.Ed, University of Ballarat; M. Ed, UniSQ; Grad. Cert. Ed. Res, CSU; CAEL, Harvard GSE; PhD UniSQ) is a Teaching Scholar in Education (Pedagogy and Curriculum) at Deakin University in Warrnambool, Australia. He is a recognised expert in global citizenship education, comparative and international education and international schooling. In addition, he works both within Australia and internationally, consulting on practical global citizenship education.
