The ADA University School of Education in close partnership with Baku City Education Department and a public school # 177, has launched a new project on "Data-Driven Decision – Making for Effective Leadership" aimed at supporting School Principals through enhancing their competence in data analytics, research methods for making sound decisions and framing relevant school policies.
The Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Vafa Kazdal, highlighted the importance of the project in cultivation data-driven and digitally-enabled education managers in her welcoming speech about the activities of the School of Education (SE).
Ms. Saida Nabiyeva, SE Program Director provided a brief overview of the concept of the project.
The representative of the Baku City Education Department noted the necessity of transition to data-led education by conducting this kind of diverse projects on the national scale.
28 Baku School Principals will benefit from a semester-long, graduate-level course “ Data Analytics” delivered by ADA University professor, Dr. Vener Garayev.
This project provides a unique academic platform for managerial bodies of schools to learn how to install leading and emerging technology solutions into their policies.
