ADA University hosted one of the biggest events of Azerbaijan - NASA Space Apps 2019
ADA University turned into a hub of world-wide hackathons, where the coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers discover excellent opportunities to put forward and to generate new ideas and concepts.
On October 18, 2019, ADA University started to host one of the biggest events of Azerbaijan in the technology sphere - NASA Space Apps 2019, to address real-world problems on Earth and in Space, brought together brilliant minds with a global outlook.
Rector of ADA University, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev mentioned that more than 50 teams representing public and private sectors, educational institutions have enrolled for this prestigious event. "October 18, NASA Space Apps Challenge has been launched in roughly 200 cities of world and we are so thrilled that our Baku is among these cities."
Professor Roald Sagdeev from Maryland University highlighted the importance of hackathons for those who have a special interest of cosmic sphere.
During 48 hours long Hackathon, 100 participants representing 25 different teams not only competed for being selected a winner, but strived to show their mindset how they see the future of the planet. The winning teams of "NASA Space Apps Azerbaijan" are:
1st place - "ICARUS”
2nd place - “SpaceSetup”
3rd place - “Ulduz Station”
