President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended opening of two new facilities of ADA University

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have attended the opening of two new facilities of ADA University.
 
The head of state and First Lady toured the park on the university campus.
 
Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev informed President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva about the conditions created at the new facilities.
 
Rector Pashayev mentioned that the construction process of the new facilities was executed in 2016-2019. The new blocks of ADA University are comprised of the auditorium with 535 person capacity, 42 classrooms, 18 group rooms, a library, and 3 labs. All the classrooms were provided with translation resources, smart boards, and other necessary teaching equipment.

The server rooms of new blocks support the entire teaching process. These rooms facilitate online and face-to-face learning of students with smart codes, special equipment, and computers.
 
One of the new facilities is used by the School of Public and International Affairs and School of Business. Some 1,500 students, including citizens from 45 countries study here. Up to now, ADA University trained 2,000 diplomats and civil servants.

ADA School, the college-style school of ADA University founded in 2019, is based in the second block. ADA School offers education in English and Azerbaijani languages for Grade 10 and Grade 11.
 
The President and the First Lady became familiar with the conditions created in the new park of ADA University campus. With an area of 4 hectares, the main part of ADA park is largely surrounded by a green zone with 280 plant species.

Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev informed President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva of the future work plan of the higher education institution.
