Unilever touched upon how the pandemic has pushed the business community to postpone or cancel internship programs offered to students. Aliya mentioned that COVID-19 has thrown the typical internship cycle into chaos and students are forced to postpone their plans to an undefined period.
Aliya mentioned that being adaptable, conducting clear communication, and clarifying the expectations beforehand are the keys to succeeding during the internship period.
