We are delighted to announce that the scholarly article, titled "Role of Natural Gas Consumption in the Reduction of CO2 Emissions: Case of Azerbaijan" authored by Sarvar Gurbanov, Assistant Professor in Economics has been added to the Web of Science databases.
This study analyzes the impact of natural gas consumption on mitigating CO2 emissions for Azerbaijan.

"Considering that natural gas provides 65% of total energy supply and 93% of electricity generation for Azerbaijan, this relationship provides many insights. Since 1995, oil-fired power plants have been replaced with natural gas-fired plants."
