On the occasion of November 8—Victory Day, a feature documentary film called "The Clouded Mountains of Shusha" was screened at ADA University.The film screening, held with the cooperation of the Office of Student Services of ADA University and the “Unquenchable Flame” Cultural Relations Public Union, brought together students, teachers, and staff of the University.
The event started with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then a moment of silence was held in remembrance of the Patriotic War martyrs.
Javid Shahmammadli, a student of ADA University, who welcomed the guests, highlighted the importance of the event.
The Office of Student Services manager, Gunel Asgarova, noted that the ADA community celebrates Victory Day with great joy and organizes various events to commemorate our heroes who died for the territorial integrity of our lands during the 44-day Patriotic War.
Shahla Naghiyeva, the chairperson of the "Unquenchable Flame" Cultural Relations Public Union, pointed out that the film, which was produced with the financial support of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in partnership with Public Television, is dedicated to the history of Shusha. It was added that the film scripted by Musallim Hasanov was dubbed in English by David Seys, one of the famous presenters on BBC television. The event continued with literary and artistic works by ADA University students.
It should be noted that on November 4, an exhibition dedicated to November 8—Victory Day was also held at ADA University. The Union of Azerbaijan Artists organized the exhibition.
