Employability Week is held at ADA University

On April 10th, ADA University Career Services department launched its highly anticipated Employability Week with an inspiring and dynamic opening ceremony.

Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, ADA University Vice Rector for Government, External and Student Affairs, and Director of Institute for Development and Diplomacy, Dr. Vafa Kazdal, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Ms. Gulnur Isparova, Chief of Organization and Personnel, and Mr. Abbas Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Management Board of ABB delivered opening remarks emphasizing the importance of this professional training course, which ensures easy transition of students to the working environment.

The main goal of the event is to introduce students and recent graduates to career opportunities on the American labor market. Employability Week was attended by professionals from 17 institutions in the fields of finance, banking, consumer, information and telecommunications, auditing, and consulting. 70% of these institutions represent the private sector, while 30% represent the government.

More than 380 students participating in Employability Week will attend eight days of lectures by public and private sector professionals on emotional intelligence, industry insights, interview skills, work ethics, entrepreneurship and innovation, personal branding and digital networking. They will also receive information about internship programs and short-term employment opportunities. Following the Employabilty Week, the Career Fair will be held on April 27. At the fair, more than 120 local and international companies will present ADA students and alumni with a variety of career opportunities.
