The camp, which will last until August 19, is being implemented with the cooperation of "Tech Arena", one of the brands of "Huawei Co”.
This camp is one of stages in the series of several tournaments to prepare teams for the successful participation in Finals of ICPC which will be held in Egypt in November 2023 and in the ICPC round 2023-2024.
The International Organizing Committee, chaired by Fuad Hajiyev, a faculty member at ADA University's School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE), oversaw the gathering of coding enthusiasts and specialists from different countries. The committee consists of Abzatdin Adamov, Dean of the School of Information Technologies and Engineering at ADA University, and Mykhailo Medvediyev, the University professor, Etibar Seyidzade from Baku Engineering University, Vladimir Kotov from Belarus State University, Teodore Zarkua from the Georgian Association for the Support of Programming, Georgia, and Alimzhan Amanov from Kazakh-British Technical University.
Fuad Hajiyev, who spoke at the opening ceremony, stated that ADA University, which brings together young programming enthusiasts from around the world, reaffirms its commitment to innovation and the sharing of technological knowledge.
Along with foreign competitors from Belarus, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, local competitors from other Azerbaijani universities, including ADA University, will compete in teams. There will be a total of 50 people in 18 teams participating in the camp, along with 2 teams of coaches.
Six different days will feature competitions during the camp. In addition to competitions, the camp's schedule includes a tour of Baku, a trip to the beach, and football and volleyball games.
It should be noted that the International Collegiate Programming Contest known as "ICPC" is a multi-stage programming competition held annually between different universities of the world.
