ADA University students - Aylan Mammadli, Ismayil Huseynov, and Murad Iskandar were selected from the pool of talented candidates for the Heydar Aliyev Scholarship, which was established with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Winners will receive a one-time payment of 3,000 AZN per person.
Scholarship recipients were nominated by the special Selection Committee appointed by the Rector of ADA University. The Committee evaluated eligible students based on their admission scores, cumulative GPA, involvement in the student life of ADA University and achievements at International or Republic Subject Olympiads. Committee also required that the eligible candidates do not have any Honor Code or Student Code of Conduct violations. As a result, three students were selected out of 104 eligible student pool. The Ministry of Science and Education has approved the selected candidates.

Aylan Mammadli is a BAIS student expected to graduate in 2025. Her CGPA is 3,98. She is the president of the ADA Volunteers Movement, actively organizing the work of volunteers for large-scale events like the ADA Book Fair, Graduation Ceremony 2023, Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev Awards, Orientation, other local and partner events at ADA, Info sessions, Open Days and so on. Aylan is also a member of the Animal Care Club.
Ismayil Huseynov is a BBA student expected to graduate in 2023. His CGPA is 3,97. He is the current president of the Undergraduate Student Government. He is also a Co-founder & President of Consulting Club, Business Committee Manager/Vice and vice president of ESN Azerbaijan, editor of the Philosophy Club, treasurer of ADAMUN, and scientific researcher at the Cybersecurity Club. Ismayil also won 3rd place in the Republic Subject Olympiad in History in 2019.
Murad Iskandar is LLB student expected to graduate in 2026. His CGPA is 3,97. Murad won 3rd place in 2020, 2nd place in 2021, and 1st place in 2022 in the Republic Subject Olympiad in History. He is also a member of ADA Intellectual Games Club, the Law Society Club, and the European Law Students’ Association.
