ADA University welcomed a delegation from four Saudi Arabian universities
We welcomed a delegation from four Saudi Arabian universities.
The delegation included department heads, deans, and vice rectors of the following institutions: Princess Nourah bint Ali Al-Rahman University; Imam Mohammad bin Saud University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Islamic University of Medina for Academic Affairs; and Umm Al-Qura University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
Dr. Fariz Ismailzade, Vice Rector of ADA University and the Director of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy, welcomed the group and emphasised the importance of educational cooperation in light of the two nations’ growing bilateral ties.
The parties talked about the potential for long-term partnership in three key areas: increasing awareness among ADA University alumni about applying to Saudi universities; exchanging students and expertise; conducting research projects.
Dr. Elkin Nurmamadov, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs at ADA University, underlined the significance of joint applications with Saudi Arabian universities to international grants for educational purposes while talking about the educational landscape in Azerbaijan and university responsibilities and practices of our country.
Dr. Bassam bin Abdullah Al-Bassam, Secretary General of the University Affairs Council, proposed further strengthening collaboration in the field of education, which will not only help the development of countries but also give momentum to international development and partnership.
The meeting attended by ADA University deans and staff members featured in-depth discussions on building the working conditions to establish a mutually beneficial educational environment.
