ADA University, Center of Excellence in EU Studies in partnership with University of Kent (UK) within the COMPASS project is organizing 1st Early Career Researchers Training School on Research Methodology on February 25th-March 1st at ADA University. The main objective of the training school is to offer an opportunity for further skills development on research methodology and exchange of ideas for Doctoral and Postdoctoral students, and early career researchers. Researchers with different backgrounds are invited to apply as the training school adopts an interdisciplinary approach.
Training School program will focus on the following:
● Different types of data sources and ways and means of accessing them
● Formulation of research questions and objectives, setting research design and other components of research proposal
● Research methods and techniques of data collection and data-analysis and interpretation
● Different methodological approaches to qualitative and quantitative research
● Statistical techniques and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) package
