Education Management (in English)

Master of Arts in Education Management is a two-year master’s program that offers a holistic approach from developing policy to management in the education sector. Designed around best practices in education management, the program brings together critical perspective and problem-solving. Our graduates will be trained to devise smart solutions to practical issues in education management. Responsibility, shared governance and engagement are central to this program. The graduates will be thought-after professionals not only in the education sector, but also in non-governmental or policy-related organizations that collaborate with educational institutions.

The program is taught in the evenings and weekends throughout 5 semesters, including one Summer term.  Alongside the major core courses, students take 3 elective courses after completing their first year. Close to the end of their studies, students apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios by working on a Capstone project. Students who choose research track write Master’s thesis during their second year.

Each year, top 5 students are selected to be part of prestigious Graduate Assistantship Program. The selected students receive full tuition waiver and get a chance to work with School’s faculty member on a research project. Graduate Assistantship is awarded at the time of admissions and does not require a separate application.

Annual tuition and fees for the citizens of Azerbaijan is 6000 AZN and for Internationals 10500 AZN.
