#EduDialogues session - Unlocking the Power of Dress: Applying Semiotics in Education

In this #EduDialogues session, Ms. Eva Lennartz, Ph.D. Candidate at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan, will explore the application of dress semiotics in education. Semiotics, the study of signs within society, provides a valuable tool for understanding knowledge and justification. To demonstrate its potential benefits, the lecturer will showcase visual materials from her doctoral fieldwork in Baku, conducted in 2023.

The speaker, Eva Lennartz, is a German native with a bachelor's degree in "European Studies" from Maastricht University. In 2015, she completed the Era smus Mundus master's program in "Global Studies." Following her studies, she spent three and a half years working in project management in Azerbaijan. In 2021, she began her Ph.D. journey in "Eurasian Studies" at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan.
