Established in 2019, ADA School offers education in English language for Grade 10 and Grade 11. Combining national curriculum of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the academic experience of ADA University, ADA School curriculum enhances learning experiences with skills and values.
The curriculum offers a breadth of knowledge in multiple disciplines combined with communication and leadership skills much needed in the 21st century.
With the global outlook and traditions of academic excellence, the school alumni become competitive in admission processes to universities, whether through State Examination Center (SEC) or SAT exams. ADA School alumni are also eligible for admission to ADA University on special terms.
Starting from May 10, 2023, ADA School is an authorized IB World School for the Diploma Program. From now on we are a part of an elite group of educational institutions that hold the prestigious title of being an IB World School. This means that we have met all of the rigorous standards and requirements to offer the International Baccalaureate program, which is a globally recognized education system. Our Teaching Philosophy
Our teaching philosophy is to inspire students to love learning, build knowledge together with their teachers, apply it in real-life predictable and unpredictable contexts, and experiment with it. In our teaching, knowledge is the means and competency is the end result.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is the competency-based curriculum that aims to cultivate school graduates (known as ADAlilar) who are able to confidently communicate in English in social, cultural, and academic contexts while also being competent in the national language of Azerbaijan and at least one foreign language; who propose creative solutions to local and global problems of the world drawing on their knowledge of history, geography, language, and culture; who are fluent in science and technology, and can collect, synthesize and quantitatively analyze and interpret information to draw conclusions on physical and natural world. The subjects offered in the School curriculum serve the above purpose from six perspectives.

Admission to ADA School is a three-stage process:

Admission to ADA School requires a certain level of English language proficiency within a range shown below:
For national curriculum:
Duolingo - 115 and above (with a minimum score of 105 in the writing section for Lal and minimum of 95 and 85 in the writing section for English B HL and SL respectively)
IELTS- 6.0 and above (with a minimum of 6.5 in the writing section for Lal and minimum of 6 and 5.5 in the writing section for English B HL and SL respectively).
TOEFL - 92 and above (with a minimum of 24 in the writing section for Lal and minimum of 21 and 18 in the writing section for English B HL and SL respectively)

All applicants with complete application package must pass the School-leaving examination for the pupils graduating from the general secondary education (9th grade) conducted by the State Examination Center.
The minimum passing score for SEC Math exam is 60 points.
Students, who applying to ADA School from international schools and who haven’t participated in the School-leaving examination for the pupils graduating from the general secondary education (9th grade) conducted by the State Examination Center of Azerbaijan will be invited for ADA School Admission Interview to check their level of Math.
ADA School charges a Flat Fee to underwrite the cost of education. The 2023-2024 tuition fee for National Curriculum is 8,000 AZN, for IB Diploma Programme is 11,000 AZN. The fees do not include books and supplies, lunch, field trips or other expenses.
These scholarships are awarded to incoming high school students for their outstanding academic performance prior to being enrolled at ADA School National Curriculum only.
Incoming high school students who have received 1st, 2nd or 3rd place at Republic Subject Olympiads at Grade 9 will receive 100% tuition fee waiver for the duration of their studies at ADA High School only, if they maintain minimum 3.0 annual GPA. Such students that have failed to meet the above requirements are not eligible for the merit-based scholarship in the following academic year.
