The meeting with People's Artist of Azerbaijan at ADA University

Arif Huseynov, prominent graphic artist and People's Artist of Azerbaijan, met with ADA University students on February 22.

The event was dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

A. Huseynov spoke about the massacres perpetrated against the Azerbaijani people in Khojaly by soviet military and Armenian armed forces 31 years ago.

At the event, information regarding the book "Karabakhname: Pages of History" was provided.

It was noted that in the book "Karabakhname. Pages of history" 45 paintings depicting our eternal and ancient lands and culture shed light on our entire history, from the ancient Albanian era to the Khojaly tragedy and the Karabakh Victory. All compositions in the "Karabakhname" series are based on actual events. Numerous historical figures, including legendary generals, singers, Russian aristocrats, and architectural landmarks, are also depicted in black-and-white line paintings.
