Master of Public Administration

The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a two-year interdisciplinary graduate program. It focuses on empirical knowledge equipping the students with analytical and managerial skills to excel as public servants. The program is taught in the evenings throughout 5 semesters, including one Summer term.

Program format

Alongside the major core courses, students take 3 elective courses after completing their first year. Close to the end of their studies, students apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios by working on a Capstone project. Students who choose research track write Master’s thesis during their second year.

Graduate Assistantship

Each year, top few students are selected to be part of prestigious Graduate Assistantship Program. The selected students receive full tuition waiver and get a chance to work with School’s faculty member on a research project. Graduate Assistantship is awarded at the time of admissions and does not require a separate application.

Other financial aid options include merit-based scholarships for returning students, international fellowship, need-based support,  and graduate assistantship.

Tuition and fees

Annual tuition and fees for the citizens of Azerbaijan is 6500 AZN and for Internationals 10500 AZN.
